New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve was loads of fun. It began with food. Of course. Including homemade salsa, guacamole, Taco's, meatballs and lots of sweets. Then we did Zumba which then turned into a random dance party. We learned the Hustle (thanks Mom!). We burnt a lot of calories. We may have lit some things that would then explode. And then it hi midnight and we lit our sparklers. It was tons of fun. One of the best New Year's yet.

They are Illegal

Fact: Fireworks are ILLEGAL in Arizona ...

Therefore, hypothetically speaking of course, if we were to use fireworks on New Year's Eve. And if we were all in the backyard. And if we, hypothetically speaking, were setting off several of those ones that go straight up into the air and then explode. You picturing it? (Hypothetically) What happens if one does not go off properly? What happens if it does not shoot up as high as it should? What happens when by the time it gets back down to eye level it then explodes? Hypothetically, if this were to happen...I think everyone would be screaming... um...and then making sure the embers go out and don't start a fire... Followed by laughter. Tons of laughter. Hypothetically...

That is what would happen if we were ALLOWED to use fireworks in Arizona.

Bangs!

So I decided I was ready for change. After seeing a fellow blogger with these cute bangs I thought I would give it a go and see how I liked it. I love them and I am glad I decided to go through with it. It was a lot of hair that was cute off. Thank You Bette-Sue for doing them on such short notice. I love it!

Christmas Recap...

Christmas was GREAT! It was the first Christmas in like 3 years that the entire family was together. It was super nice. Randon and Callie came into town on Tuesday. I did have to work all week except for Christmas but it was not too bad.
I love the Christmas traditions we have. We also incorporated a couple new ones this year.
---We have a Taco Dinner Christmas Eve (New tradition). It was so good!

---Christmas Eve we have a White Elephant gift exchange...I won The Office Trivia Game.


---We also do our sibling gift exchange Christmas eve as well.
---We started a new tradition with a 'Shaker' gift. Everyone is allowed to shake this gift. We all guess what it is and the person who guesses correctly wins the gift. Randon won it this year...
--- And it's not Christmas if you don't watch 'It's A Wonderful Life'
Callie got a yoga set for Christmas so Mom, Callie, and I decided to try it out...It was fun. I sure felt it in my shoulders the next day though.


I love Christmas. Most especially the Christmas Spirit. I wish it lasted all year long.

Christmas at Tempe Marketplace

This past weekend I went out with Chelsea and Sam to Tempe Marketplace. It was so nice to visit with these girls, I love them!

It also "snows" there every night at 7 pm ... I don't know that I would call it snow but close enough for Arizona. It was bubbles...it was fun and it did look like snow.

We went to see Matt Weddle perform (singer from Obadiah Parker). He has an amazing voice....I will try to post the video later...its taking to long to upload right now.

Merry Christmas!

Twilight Midnight Show!

So Twilight came out on Nov. 21st we went to the midnight showing. Holy Crow it was crazy! Tylon was nice and volunteered to save seats in line. I dropped him off at about 4:30 and there already was a huge line. The rest of us had to get there before 8:30 as they were letting people in and were not allowing people to save seats. (DUMB) Anyways, we got there just in time as Tylon was walking into the theater. It was nice that we were seated from 8:30 until the show started instead of standing outside.


I loved the movie! I really thought they did a great job of taking a 500 page book into a two hour movie. They did a great job casting and I am excited to see more of the characters in the next movie. They just confirmed that because the movie has made such a killing they are going forward to film New Moon....YAY!!!

Kelly got Married!

YAY!!! … Kelly got married on Saturday and she looked beautiful. We were able to grab a quick picture with her! Her husband is so nice...she caught a good one!

Kelly's Bachelorette Party!

Saturday night was Kelly's Bachelorette Party it was so much fun. Chelsea, Samantha and I had fun decorating and hanging out Saturday afternoon. We met up at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and then went back to Sam's for dessert and gifts and such. We had chocolate fondue and the works. It was so so good. We all got Kelly this basket packed to the top with fun and crazy stuff. It was a lot of fun. I do not think I have laughed so hard in a long time.
