The Truth Is...

…When I was in the break room the other day at work… the smell in their reminded me of pork rinds. There was this kind you popped in the microwave. My mom and I ate those when we were on the Atkins diet. Oh I cringe when I think of the food we ate on that diet.

…My footsies are in desperate need of a pedicure. Serious heel cracking going on and its driving me crazy

…My nickname at the gym…given by my trainer…is KDUB.

…Tylon likes to scare people. Like hide in my closet. Hide around the corner jump out of you things… the other night he was in my room… I was texting someone… it was dark the only light was from my phone and when I moved the phone away his face was right there…CREEPY!... so now I am always looking in my room, making sure he’s not there… flashing the light from my phone around to make sure he’s not hiding. I have a feeling he sits outside my room while I do this and just laughs.

…have you seen this video?? Bon Qui Qui at King Burger….oh I quote that way too much! {I will CUT you!}

CSN Review (coming soon)

Guess what?!?!
I was contacted by CSN stores to do another review.
I am so excited.
The difficult part is deciding what to get because...
they have over 200 online stores.

you can seriously find anything there.
Whether its a handbag, a sweet pair of heels, or a dining room table...

I am off to browse around...
I will be back with a review later!

can I get a do over...

The day has just started.
It's only 5:20 am... and I have only been at work for 15 minutes...
(yeah I was 5 minutes late)
I woke up with a headache.
My one umbrella I used to get to my car took a piece of skin out of my thumb.
My better umbrella in my car that I was going to use is broken.
I come into work and someone had sat at my desk after I left yesterday... leaving stuff on my desk and moving other things.
and maybe my biggest pet peeve is when someone sits in my desk chair and adjusts the settings. And then doesnt change it back.
Oh and on top of that I jammed my thumb really bad yesterday at boot camp...doing burpies...at least I hope its only a jam... but its hurting and swollen.

Dear Today,
Please get better!
or
Speed up...
I should be back in bed.
Sincerely, Me
(Yes I am having a pity party. Only because no one is awake that I can whine to.)

The Truth Is...

…When I am scared, I punch people. {be warned}

…I am pretty picky about the kind of blanket I sleep with. I need that crisp linen feeling. I am not a fan of fleece or other like material touching me… it just makes me hot. Whereas I feel like linen is cooler feeling.

…Not a fan of carving pumpkins… I absolutely HATE having to get all the seeds and stringy stuff out of the middle.

…Guess who is talking in church on Sunday??? Hmm…I am nervous… I think it calls for a new dress or something… but that’s pushing it.

…I think blasting the music with the windows down is one of the best things ever.

…I miss drinking Sqeeze-It’s

{PLAY ALONG!!!!... What are your truths???}

Do you really want to know what's going through my mind???

*I am officially done house sitting. I have missed my bed.

*First day back to boot camp yesterday…. Yeah that was tough. Felt a little weird there for a minute. But I survived. I am always amazed at the outpouring of support from the people in that class.

*I am not a fan of drama. I am not a fan of being a 25 year old who sometimes feels like they are back in high school because of how people act. It’s frustrating. I hated high school. But I gotta be social right.

*Sometimes I feel like Monica on friends… I can’t handle when people are mad/upset at me. Even when I know I did absolutely nothing wrong…. Why do I still feel bad about things??? …and how do you change that??

*I have a headache… on to CLE #2 today… please caffeine work…

*This post sounds so negative. And I hate negativity (is that a double negative??)

*I am loving Biggest Loser. Anyone else watching??? Do you have a favorite???

*I need to get on reading the last Harry Potter before the movie comes out. I am worried I’ll disappear from life. But now that I think about it… I don’t know when I have time to read. Maybe on the weekends.

*I have so many crafts I want/need to work on. Sort of overwhelming. I need to make a list.

*It's Tuesday. No gym. Ultimate Frisbee night though... woot woot!

Weekend Update

Friday: began with a half day at work – then a nap, it only lasted an hour, (lame) – banana bread – banana cake – Costco – stupid drivers (snowbirds are coming back) – Basha’s – Girls Night – lots of food – fun games …MOW, Charades – sleepover with Mom at the place I am house sitting!

Saturday: not waking up to my alarm. I don’t even know what happened. But I turned it off and don’t remember. Thankfully I got a text from Jessica that woke me up. – GARAGE SALES!!! – Probably the most successful garage sale trip. I think I spent only $25, I got super nice shelves, a HUGE framed picture (gonna become a chalkboard), pillow forms, craft stuff, topiary pot things. We spent all our cash = end of garage sales. – Fresh & Easy (hello 50% off clearance on just about everything) – Dinner with Tashina (kinda owed her for staying with me a few nights while house sitting) – The Social Network (I liked the movie. A lot!) – late night talking

Sunday: My first YW lesson. It went pretty good. My girls are super good. But I felt a little unprepared when I saw another leader with ALL her stuff. Made it hard with house sitting to get stuff together… but I thought overall it went well. – Sunday Nap! – Family celebration for Shay’s birthday (later this week)! – Amazing food by my Dad – Games with the family – Packing up for house sitting – Game Night with friends – and maybe the worst night sleep ever, okay maybe not, but close. Dreaming about the time and knowing you have to wake up soon and tossing and turning. I don’t feel like I got any sleep.

Today… back to the gym… I may die… still have a cold… a nap may help…. 5 more hours and I will get one….

Happy Monday!!!!

The Truth is...

…When I am asleep and I shouldn’t be. Like during a movie. And someone says something I (like to) think I respond quickly. However, I was told by a friend who slept over when I was house sitting that she asked me for something, I had fallen asleep, and I shot up and just sat there, for I guess a long time (I remember shooting up, but responding quickly) She said she just sat there and was like…”umm… what’s she doing”… so I guess I am not as quick as I seem to think I am in my head.

…Today marks my 4 year anniversary at my job.

…I think I got MAYBE 2 hours of sleep last night. I am getting or I am sick… my dang nose and throat. I couldn’t/can’t breathe. It was ridiculous last night. (I may not go to the gym. I think sleep may be more important.)

… When I eat chicken wings, I only use one hand.

…I am not a huge Halloween fan. I really don’t care so much for dressing up. But I need to figure something out for a Halloween party. I’m taking suggestions…

PLaY along! What are your truths??

I hope this letter works...

Dear Crystal Light,
I wanted to write in regards to the sweet nectar you make, Wild Strawberry Crystal Light Energy. I would like to nominate myself as your spokesperson for said drink. And here are my following reasons:

1. I am completely convinced that it is crucial to one’s day. As crucial as breathing, food, and water is. Take into account that I ran out and have not had any today. This just reinforces and convinces me more of its importance.

2. I speak highly of your product to all. I have assisted in addicting many to this fine drink.

3. I buy a ton of crystal light energy. A lot. So much so that Basha’s NEVER has any in stock. Why? I have no idea. But I am ready to complain. Someone else beats me there and takes them all. Rude!

4. Those of us addicting refer to it as CLE (Crystal Light Energy)… yes we do talk/text/email about it that much that it deserves an abbreviation.

Please take ALL these factors into account!I would gladly accept payment for being the amazing spokesperson I am by a lifetime supply of CLE.
I’m just throwing that out there… I mean imagine how many more people I could convince of its amazingness by simply offering them a drink packet.
Just saying, I think its pretty genius.
I am patiently awaiting your response,

The Truth is....

…My nightmares always involve a natural disaster. Usually it’s a wild fire or a tornado. I have a huge fear of these two things. HUGE! Lately, the dreams contain both. I hate it!

…Sometimes I miss my stick shift car. Sometimes I miss pretending like I’m on the Fast & the Furious {Hello Paul Walker} But then I remember the uphills, and stalling, and the rolling backwards….and I am happy Fiona is automatic.

…When I was little I would NOT leave the house until my hair was done. Like, would not go outside to play until my mom did my hair. Nothing’s changed. Well except that my mom won’t do my hair anymore. Pshhh!

…Sometimes I can’t handle people in stores… I absolutely hate when people are all up in your business and just hovering over you while you’re trying to shop… can’t handle it. Main reason I won’t go to Wal-mart during the day. I choose to go at night (if I have to go). Late at night.

…I have this love for Biscuits. Seriously. I crave them a lot. Finally made some last night and my mom made this vanilla honey butter. OHEMMGEE. Really OH MY GOSH… it’s like a vanilla bean frappe on a biscuit (or whatever you want buttered) … its 1/4C Butter, 1/4C Powdered Sugar, 1/4C Honey, 1t Pure Vanilla…no not healthy at all. Don’t judge me though, it’s not right.

I am already looking forward to the weekend…. 3 day weekend … so ready for Friday!

Movie Quote Friday!

Emma

Emma Woodhouse: The most beautiful thing in the world is a match well made.
---------------------------
Emma Woodhouse: One does not like to generalize about so many people all at once, Mr. Knightley, but you may be sure that men know nothing about their hearts, whether they be six-and-twenty, or six-and-eighty.

Frank Churchill: Is your horse just washing his feet or are the darker forces at work here?
Emma Woodhouse: The latter, I'm afraid. Something's happened to the wheel and I cannot move.
Frank Churchill: You'll just have to live here then. Buhbye.
------------------------------
Mr. Knightley: Better be without sense than misapply it as you do.
------------------------------
Emma Woodhouse: Not one in a hundred men have "gentleman" so plainly written across them as Mr. Knightley! Emma Woodhouse: Dear Diary, Today I tried not to think about Mr. Knightly. I tried not to think about him when I discussed the menu with Cook... I tried not to think about him in the garden where I thrice plucked the petals off a daisy to acertain his feelings for Harriet. I don't think we should keep daisies in the garden, they really are a drab little flower. And I tried not to think about him when I went to bed, but something had to be done.
----------------------------------------------
Emma Woodhouse: How fascinating that any discordancy between us must always arise from *my* being wrong.
Mr. Knightley: Not fascinating, but true.
Mr. Knightley: Maybe it is our imperfections which make us so perfect for one another.
------------------------------
Mr. Knightley: Men of sense, whatever you may say, do not want silly wives!
-----------------------------
Mr. Knightley: I rode through the rain! I'd - I'd ride through worse than that if I could just hear your voice telling me that I might, at least, have some chance to win you. Mr. Knightley: I can think of nothing less appealing than an evening of watching other people dance. Go on!
[throwing stick for dog to fetch]
Emma Woodhouse: Then you shall have to dance yourself.
Mr. Knightley: I have no taste for it. I'd rather fetch that stick.
Emma Woodhouse: I'll try to remember to bring it to the ball.
Mr. Knightley: [pause] I just want to stay here where it's cozy. Emma: I do not admire Mr. Knightley as I have so long thought.
[pause]
Emma: I love him. So dearly, so greatly!
-----------------------------
Mr. Knightley: Marry me. Marry me, my wonderful, darling friend.
-------------------------------
Emma Woodhouse: Now I need not call you Mr. Knightley. I may call you *my* Mr. Knightley.
--------------------------------
Emma Woodhouse: Mr. Knightley, if I have not spoken, it is because I am afraid I will awaken myself from this dream.

{Just watched this movie this last week. Forgot how much I loved it.
Mr. Knightley is quite charming (although I would still choose Darcy if I had too)}
