YSA Conference!

This past weekend was our annual YSA conference up to Jones Crossing. I had a really good time. It was so nice to go with Chelsea and Kelly, since Kelly is now engaged (YIPPEE!) it was like a last Hooray for us three. We did some Karaoke Friday, which was fun...Pres. Lawlor got us to sing some Buck Owens. But the highlight of the trip was the classes Saturday morning. Pres. and Sis. Lawlor's class really hit home. It was about being prepared for whatever the future holds, being where we are supposed to be when we are supposed to be there, and not making excuses. It was really good and definitely what I needed to hear.

Breaking Dawn

The fourth and final book of the Twilight series came out August 2nd....I was at Wal-Mart at 1:00AM to pick up my copy...I LOVED this book! I definitely was not expecting the plot line but Stephenie Meyer pulled it off. I really enjoyed it and thought it completed the series perfectly. Now, I have to wait for the Twilight Movie to come out in December (now November 21st!!!) and 'Midnight Sun' to come out in the Spring. UGH!!! I HATE having to wait :)

YIPPPEEEE!!!!

Elder Walters finally came home Friday, July 31st!!! It was so good to see him and have all the family together for the first time in three and a half years. He looks great!!! His homecoming is Sunday August 10th and I get to speak as well as sing with my sister-in-law. I am so happy he is finally home!!!
