Confession Wednesday

I am/was a DIE HARD Nsync fan.
Yup.
I loved them.
Any poster I ever got went on my wall.
My first love would be Mr. Justin Timberlake himself. Yessirree.
I had a wall in my room dedicated to Justin. All Justin posters from corner to corner.
I would record anything and everything that had to do with Nsync when it came on TV.
My favorite would be there special Disney Concert.
I was a fan club member.
I wrote to Justin. I am sure he got my heartfelt letters.
They were my first concert.
My favorite colors changed to baby blue and yellow. {ahem...Justin's favorites}
I still think they are amazing.
I still jam out to their music.
I still know all the words.
I actually just got in a heated discussion with a friend Monday night.
I will defend those boys till my dying day.

I will leave you with one of my favorite videos

Check out Jessica's confessions...she's got a good one about her Backstreet Boys

Confession Wednesday

I have this ever growing collection of frames and mirrors.
Someday , they will be on the wall in my house.
I am just drawn to really cool and unique frames/mirrors.
I love finding them at garage sales.
You can find some really cool vintage looking ones.
This is an ever growing stack I have in my room.
{The picture doesn't do it justice.}
I just counted...16.
I picked one up a couple weeks ago. For a buck!

Confesion Wednesday

Um....Do you remember when this happened???
I am concerned...
Ugh!
Hitting a bird I could not really see was no big deal. I just saw white.
When you hit a rabbit with Mom I was not there.
But tonight...
Really?!?!
I know I joke around about it.
But I was hoping you weren't serious.
I must say I am concerned.
That poor cat!
Ugh....it makes me so sad!

Confession Wednesday

Do you watch the Biggest Loser?
There is/was a girl on there, Dina, who had this thing where she just could not jump on this stool.
Because of whatever fear she had she just could not do it.
As I watched her struggle with this. I thought of my own issue at the gym.
And for whatever reason I have this thing about running on the treadmill.
Not because I can’t run. I ran when we used to go to the track.
But because of fear I guess. I don’t want people watching me. Seeing me run.
So running in a room full of people, on a treadmill, kind of freaks me out.
I don’t know why.
And yesterday after a lot of self talking.
I did it.
I ran.
Not for long.
But I ran.
Because the issue is not the running part.
But just getting the courage to do it.

Confession Wednesday

Sometimes I get worn out going to all the activities for us YSA’s.
Sometimes it is just too much.
FHE on Monday, Institute during the week, whatever various activities on the weekend, and Firesides and Games on Sunday nights.
I find I am really good at going to it ALL for awhile.
But then I get tired and worn out.
And I find that sometimes I don’t have the umph to go to some of those things.
I am feeling like that right now.
I hope to snap out of it…Soon!

Confession Wednesday

I feel like I do fairly good with directions.
and once I have been somewhere
I am pretty good at remembering how to get there and go places from there.
But when I don’t know where I am going I have this anxiety about getting there.
I usually Google map the directions
and read over them several times to kind of memorize where I am going.
and even then I just have this anxiety about getting to these unknown places.

Because I don’t know how many times Google has given me the wrong directions.

Irritating!

Once I get to my final destination I am so relieved

Confession Wednesday

For the past 3 days
I have been going out to my car
and taking a nap...for about 30-40 minutes.
It is wonderful!
I even brought a blanket this morning to use.
Now that it is cooling off I can do this more often.

Confession Wednesday

Growing up I always ate my hot dogs the same way.
With ketchup and onions.
That’s it.
Until about 2 years ago.
I was watching Food Network. {of course}
And it was a show about Hot dogs…I think it was Unwrapped.
And I remember them saying that children only eat ketchup and onions on their hot dogs, but adults put everything on it.
I decided then that it was time to become an adult.
Ever since, I put everything on my hot dog…well the normal stuff…added the mustard and relish.
And I must confess. I was seriously missing out!

Confession Wednesday

You want to know what I am thinking of right now....

Alex: If a guy doesn't call you, he doesn't want to call you.

and more importantly....this....

Gigi: Girls are taught a lot of stuff growing up: if a boy punches you he likes you, never try to trim your own bangs, and someday you will meet a wonderful guy and get your very own happy ending. every movie we see, every story we're told implores us to wait for it: the third act twist, the unexpected declaration of love, the exception to the rule. but sometimes we're so focused on finding our happy ending we don't learn how to read the signs. how to tell the ones who want us from the ones who don't, the ones who will stay and the ones who will leave. and maybe a happy ending doesn't include a guy, maybe it's you, on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself up for something better in the future. maybe the happy ending is just moving on. or maybe the happy ending is this: knowing after all the unreturned phone calls and broken-hearts, through the blunders and misread signals, through all the pain and embarrassment... you never gave up hope.

{once again from here. because yes, I can relate to this movie. and what is going on in it. and I am understanding...that he is just not that interested...and they aren't unless they make a move to show you they are. }

Confession Wednesday

This is how I eat my M&M's
I sort them by color
and then eat the smallest color quantity
to the largest color quantity.
Odd.
I know
That's just how I do it.

Confession Wednesday

I have some song lyrics stuck in my head
from Jordin Sparks song Papercut
and I can't seem to shake it from my mind.

"I wish I was the Tin Man
so I wouldn't have a heart to break"

I have no clue why I keep thinking of this line in that song.
maybe because I feel that way....A LOT.
but yesterday I came to the realization
that If I did not have a heart to break
I would not have a heart to love.
And being in love has got to be one of the best things out there.
...so I will continue to put my heart out there...
...continue to let it break...
...because someday it won't...
...someday it will know {true} love...

Confession Wednesday

I have a fear of balloons.
For as long as I can remember I have been scared of them.
Helium ones don't bother me.
It’s the normal balloons you blow up yourself.
I think it’s the popping that scares me.
I have gotten better over the years but I still kind of cringe around them.

{I remember when I was younger for a family fun night my parents pinned little balloons on us and inside the balloons were things we had to do. I hated that activity. The fact that I had them pinned to me and then on top of that had to pop them. Oh I hated it. }
