i want to be better
To the guy who steals my heart, You know I have been told a few times or I have heard a few times from people that you want someone who makes you want to do better, be better. And I agree with that. We had this discussion last night about this very subject. Someone stated that I shouldn’t look for someone to change me or make me different. But that’s not changing me. I find absolutely nothing wrong with the fact that when I am with you, I want to be better. I want to be the best I can be. For me. And for you. Because we always have room for improvement right, and for you I want to be the best me I can be. And in the meantime…while I {patiently} wait for you… I am working on bettering myself. Because good gravy I have plenty to work on… but really.. I’d be happy if you showed up anytime now (wink, wink) xoxo, me

around the corner
My Future Dearest,
Sometimes I feel like you are right around the corner.
{I truly hope so.}
But some days it’s tough. The waiting.
And then moments come when I just feel at peace.
I feel content and happy.
In those moments I forget the tough times.
In those moments I feel truly blessed.
In those moments I remember that I am doing the right thing & I am on the right track.
In those moments I feel renewed as I continue waiting.
Waiting for what’s {hopefully} coming around the corner.
I am grateful for those moments.
Forever Yours,
the girl around the corner

Letter to FH
To Future Husband…
Umm…where are you?!?! Okay, okay… totally kidding. {seriously, I’m kidding, partially, no really kidding.}
Just a warning. I am addicted to Glee. Have you seen it? Well, I just have to tell you that a guy who sings, or really has any musical talent whatsoever, it just does something to my heart. Makes it get all fluttery. So I just have to tell you that. It’s okay if you don’t possess such talents. Heaven knows I don’t. I wish I did. But I just had to give you a heads up that that’s what happens. {okay. maybe I shouldn’t tell you that.}
After reading my cousin’s post about how she met her husband, it really got me thinking. And I realized I want to be better. I want to try harder. You see because she said had she not been in tune with the spirit she may have not found him. Not that I am saying I am not in tune. But I know I can definitely be better. So while I am ever so patiently waiting {that might be sarcasm. I tell myself I am patient. Reverse psychology on myself. I don’t think it works} I want you to know I am trying to better myself. For myself. For you. For our future family.
Waiting ever so patiently {really},
Me

Oh my Keith!
Okay....so if you know me.
You know of my undying love for Keith, Keith Urban (we are on a first name basis.)
I have seen him in concert now a total of 4 times. I have been to many a concert and he is BY FAR the best performer. {If you like him the tiniest bit I highly recommend that you go see him.} Alright, moving on. I just saw him last July and it seems like his tour this year was doing like music festivals and such. So this year he was at Country Thunder. This was all the first time I have been to Country Thunder {Erin came with me}. And I wont go again.
{Unless of course Keith plays there} If I was to go again I would definitely pay for VIP tickets.
Because the people there were crazy!!!!! CRAZY!
We saw Luke Bryan perform. As well as Kevin Costner and his band (What?!?) yeah, he has a band. I was about ready to scratch my eyes out. But ya know. People left to go get beer and food so we got to move up. We got fairly close. Which was nice. Anywho. I won't bore you with my 637 pictures {totally kidding I only have like 30} and all my videos. So I will just post my favorite picture and video.
{I think he should wear hats more often..hmmm}

{Yes, I do believe Ketih and I had eye contact.
I mean I stood out in that crowd. I was fully clothed. }
To the man I will someday love,
You would win me over if you loved Keith too. Serious brownie points there. I'm just saying...

dreaming of you
Dearest husband to be,
I don’t dream of you that often. Maybe. Once a month.
But when I wake up, the feeling is always the same.
There’s this overwhelming feeling of security.
That I am safe.
That I’m protected, because you’re there.
I feel at peace.
I feel so happy and content.
And I always have this feeling {in my dreams} that I’m the only girl you see. {whether there are other girls in my dreams or not} You see only me.
I don’t know if that’s how it feels in real life.
I hope so.
Now if only I could see your face {in my dreams}, that would be nice.
Seeing you in my dreams,
your girl

It's raining...and I'm thinking of you...
{picture from here}It's the last day of August. And it is still monsoon season.
It rained a bit tonight along with some thunder and lightning.
Every time it rains, I think of you.
I think it goes back to when I was in High School,
my best friend Stacey and I always talked of how we wanted our first kiss in the rain.
She went away to BYU Idaho and we officially formed the FKIR {first kiss in rain} club.
She succedded in doing so.
Me...I am still waiting.
And I realize that even though it hardly rains in Arizona,
as long as I get one kiss in the rain I think it will be okay.
Just know that when it rains I think of you...

Letter to him
To the {future} Keeper of My Heart
Is it weird that I miss and I and don’t even know you?
Today was a hard day for some reason.
Jut wanted to share a little something. When I was younger I thought, “when I get married I will finally be happy, life will be perfect.” In these past few years I have learned that finding you won't solve all my problems. If anything life gets a bit more difficult. And I am learning why I have had to wait and am continuing to wait for you. {I think I will share that later}. It does have its ups and downs. But you know what. I can honestly say I can’t wait. I am looking forward to that chapter in my life.
And while I am waiting for you I am continuing to learn. I’m finding joy in the journey!
XoOxxOoX,
Me
{Please hurry}

Ferris Wheel

Dearest Future Husband,
I have a realized something. The last week on my way to work I have seen this Ferris wheel all lit up. It makes me happy. And I have realized I love Ferris wheels. I am not entirely sure why. Maybe because your up and secluded from everyone and its just us. Taking on the world. Together. Will you take me on a Ferris wheel every now and then. I would love it! I hope your not scared of them.
xoxo,
Your Future Wife

Confessions of the Heart
Valentine's Day is coming
I can't say I really care for it
that could be because I have never been in a serious relationship.
So here is the confession...
I don't know if I have ever been in love.
I would like to think I have (only once)
I know I will someday
when the time is right.
and I will be looking for this ...
you and i will forever finish each other's sentences effortlessly we'll have plenty of inside jokes that makes us laugh and looks like fools
our midnight conversations always ends only when the sun starts shining,
with both of us sleeping on both end
we will take the longer walks home,
just so there's more time to spend together
you and i dont always have to speak to understand each other, one look that's all it takes
we will eat off each other's plate just perfectly,
cause i like what you dont like, and you like what i dont our friends gets nauseous, because when we stare into each other's eyes...
it seems like nothing else matters
as we lay next to one another, our bodies will seem like they are one our favourite song will be magic moments,
because we'll never forget the moment we've kissed the night of the hay rise
we pass time by lounging on the big couch, cuddling and talking over anything under the sun
our eyes cant lie, for its the window to the soul,
hence there's no need to constantly whispering i love you and all these silly little things would made up to be... our relationship
(from here)
So, my dear future husband...your more than welcome to find me at any time,
I am patiently waiting!
xoxo, Me
